International humanitarian conference for Gaza's civilian population is held in Paris

"Given the catastrophic health situation in which the population finds itself, and the scale of the needs, obtaining a genuine ceasefire is a matter of vital urgency," says Isabelle Defourny, President of MSF-France. "We call on the States present at the conference to state what concrete efforts are being made to obtain this ceasefire, which is a sine qua non for the deployment of relief supplies."
