"Rafah is full of homeless people, the streets are packed, people are building makeshift shelters directly on the sidewalks, on traffic circles, in front of stores, while newly displaced people arrive from the north every day. There are crowds around bakeries, ATMs, water points — which are sorely lacking — and, unfortunately, episodes of violence and people fighting. The sound of Israeli drones can be heard all the time."
