Bombings, raids and incursions: seven months of relentless attacks on the healthcare system in the occupied Palestinian territories

Over the past seven months, Gaza's healthcare system has come under systematic attack. According to OCHA, 24 hospitals are now out of service in Gaza, while 493 health workers have been killed. Every medical center and humanitarian aid delivery system has been or is being destroyed, to be replaced by less efficient alternatives. It is impossible to say what the indirect human cost will be, in terms of deaths and long-term injuries, resulting from the blockage of aid and the lack of treatment supplies.
