This short film, shot in May 2023, highlights the consequences of the Israeli blockade on Gaza and its people, in particular the difficulties encountered by medical personnel. It shows that a solid, functional health system, offering advanced surgical care in particular, existed before October 7, despite the difficulties of importing essential medical equipment into Gaza. After several months of war, this health system no longer exists; it has been annihilated by fighting, bombardments, murders and arrests of health professionals and patients alike.
