HRW raises concern over arbitrary detention and torture of Palestinian health professionals by the Israeli army

According to the statement, "Israeli forces have arbitrarily detained Palestinian health professionals in Gaza since the start of hostilities in October 2023, transferred them to detention centers in Israel and allegedly tortured and ill-treated them. The detention of health professionals in the context of the Israeli army's repeated attacks on Gaza's hospitals has contributed to the catastrophic deterioration of the health system in this besieged territory."
