UN and Gaza Ministry of Health launch polio vaccination campaign

MSF provides logistical support to five health centers in Deir al-Balah and Khan Younis. The resurgence of polio is a consequence of the destruction of infrastructure and the health system by the Israeli army. The resulting precarious and unsanitary living conditions, as well as lack of access to vaccination, encourage the spread of the disease.
