Lives of children and newborns put at risk by living conditions in Gaza

From June to October 2024, MSF teams in the emergency department of Nasser Hospital treated more than 10,800 children under the age of 5 for upper respiratory tract infections, including 168 newborns less than a month old. The maternity ward at Nasser Hospital is one of the last still in operation in southern Gaza.
