Relief after temporary ceasefire: Immense scale-up of lifesaving aid must flow into Gaza now

The announcement of a ceasefire in Gaza finally represents a positive development after 15 months of all-out war waged by the Israeli army. It has been eagerly awaited by the desperate population. Since the beginning of the conflict, MSF has consistently called for a halt to the fighting, to put an end to the massacre of Palestinians in Gaza, and to bring immediate aid to the people living in a territory devastated by bombardment, fighting and massive destruction.
