Since the beginning of 2025, an average of 112 children have been admitted each day for treatment for malnutrition

According to data collected by UNICEF-supported nutrition centers across the Gaza Strip, this represents an increase of nearly 50 percent from the 3,444 children admitted in April 2025 and 150 percent from February 2025, when the ceasefire was in effect and humanitarian aid was arriving in the Gaza Strip in significant quantities.
