After three weeks without any medical evacuations, the World Health Organization (WHO) evacuates 23 sick children

"During the evacuation, strikes near the convoy damaged the bus, ambulances, and vehicles transporting patients, their companions, and WHO staff," said Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the WHO. Since October 2023, WHO has facilitated the evacuation of more than 7,300 patients from Gaza so that they could receive essential medical care.
