At least 12,800 children were suffering from acute malnutrition in August 2025. Evacuation orders and intensified Israeli military operations have forced 10 outpatient malnutrition treatment centers to close. In Gaza City, where famine was confirmed in August, 1 in 5 children suffers from acute malnutrition.
