Maternal healthcare in Gaza City severely affected

Most health facilities serving more than 23,000 pregnant women are at risk of imminent closure. The risk is particularly acute for the 40 percent of pregnant women suffering from severe malnutrition, as well as for their babies, one in five of whom are born prematurely or underweight.
