Mass influx of 149 wounded to the Red Cross hospital in Rafah

Sixteen people were pronounced dead on arrival, and three others succumbed to their injuries. Since May 27, 2025, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has had to activate its emergency procedures for mass influxes of wounded people at its field hospital 20 times. "The scale and frequency of these incidents is an alarming testament to the intolerable dangers civilians face as they attempt to access assistance."
